F.A.Q.
How can I help you?
How Deepcozy Works
Can tap water be used in the nasal irrigation?
We do not recommend using tap water! The most important reason is that there are trace amounts of minerals, bacteria, pesticides, and other substances in tap water, which will introduce these to your sinuses during nasal irrigation. Therefore, before rinsing your nasal passages, please select the correct water source:
- Distilled or sterile water: Distilled water is purified to remove substances that irritate your nasal passages and bacteria that may make you sick.
- Boiled water: Boiling water can kill harmful organisms. You must boil the water for five minutes to ensure all bacteria are killed. However, high-temperature water may hurt your nasal passages, so please don’t use boiled water immediately until it cools down.
How does Deepcozy clean the nasal passages?
Nasal irrigation, also known as sinus irrigation, sends saline solution from one nostril to the other to remove mucus and wash away debris and allergens.
Following the correct steps is crucial to keep nasal flushing safe and comfortable. The Deepcozy electric nasal irrigation has a positive and negative pressure dual pump. The water pump delivers the saline solution through one nuzzle to the nasal vestibule, going through the lower, middle and upper nasal meatus. Then, the air pump negatively pumps the solution through the other side of the middle and upper nasal meatus to the lower nasal meatus. Finally, the waste liquid will be collected into the wastewater tank through the other side of the nuzzle.
Overall, Deepcozy passes the saline solution around the nasal passages by sending the saline solution through one side and sucking it on the other side to rinse the nasal passages more gently but more thoroughly, remove mucus and wash away bacteria and allergens. When allergies and colds congest your nose, nasal irrigation can help you relieve the blockage and breathe better and healthier.
How often should I use Deepcozy?
When you have severe symptoms, washing your nasal passages twice daily with Deepcozy can help relieve you better, and continued cleaning can help you gradually recover nasal health. If you want to prevent sinus infections or allergy symptoms and keep the nasal passages moist and clean, rinsing once daily or at an appropriate weekly frequency is helpful and necessary. In order to find a comfort zone about the number of rinses, it is better to ask for professional advice.
How long do I need when I use it?
It only takes about one minute to rinse once. When the water tank is empty, the cleaning is complete. It depends on your symptoms and usage habits; you can follow professional advice to complete the transformation of nasal health and keep using it on a regular basis to help your nasal clear.
What symptoms of nasal problems can be effectively relieved by using Deepcozy nasal irrigation?
Symptoms of sinusitis, rhinitis, common cold, allergies and even influenza can be relieved after nasal cleaning. Flushing the sinuses and nasal passages can remove mucus, germs and allergens, moisten the inside of the nasal passages, and relieve sinus congestion. In one study, patients with chronic sinus problems who performed nasal irrigation daily improved their symptoms' severity by more than 60%. After continuing to use Deepcozy to maintain the habit of regular nasal cleaning, you will feel that your sinus symptoms are under control and your quality of life is improved.
Are there any side effects to saline nasal irrigation?
Saline nasal irrigation has no side effects. The reason why some people experience burning or stinging after nasal irrigation may be due to the high salt content of the saline solution. So, here we recommend using Deepcozy Nasal Rinse Mix. Furthermore, another reason has been considered: boiled water with a higher water temperature should be cooled to warm water before use.
Don't worry! Most cases related to nasal irrigation involve untreated tap water. Therefore, using distilled or boiled water can protect you from infection with Naegleria.
Why do my ears feel blocked even though I use it correctly?
During the process of using this device to rinse your nose, if you feel nasal choking or other discomfort (such as discomfort caused by excessive pressure in the middle ear), you should stop using it immediately.
It should be noted that if your nasal congestion is severe or your ears are infected, it is recommended not to use a nasal irrigator.
Why can't the water flow to the other side when using it?
The structure of the nasal passages is somewhat different. Suppose your nasal passages have a deviated septum or are more congested and sensitive. In that case, the blockage will become severe, and the saline solution cannot go through very well.
For this situation, try rotating the nasal pillow, allowing the solution to change direction.
If the water cannot flow out of the other nostril or mouth after multiple attempts, please remove the nuzzle head and try again later. If it still doesn't work after multiple attempts, please stop trying to avoid excessive nasal pressure causing harm to you.

What are the benefits of nasal irrigation?
The nose is the leading portal for breathing and an essential channel for pathogens that cause respiratory diseases such as influenza and rhinitis to enter the body. Therefore, to avoid respiratory diseases, taking care of the nasal environment is crucial.
Nasal irrigation is a natural, safe and straightforward sinus irrigation method. It can help relieve respiratory diseases such as sinus infections, allergies, colds and other related symptoms. When saline passes through the nasal passages, it can remove light mucus, dilute stubborn and sticky mucus, and make it easier to discharge by blowing your nose or coughing, moisturise the dry nasal passages, clean away allergens such as dust, pollen and other debris, and relieve various nasal problems such as nasal congestion, nasal allergies, and runny nose.
Therefore, in the flu and pollen season, using Deepcozy to clean the nasal passages can prevent allergies and flu and maintain nasal health; if you are a patient with nasal problems such as sinusitis and rhinitis, using Deepcozy can help you relieve symptoms and restore nasal health.

Patients with chronic sinus problems can effectively improve symptoms by nasal irrigation, which can help remove mucus and bacteria and relieve sinus congestion and other nasal problems.
Thus, using nasal washing as a daily cleaning is very helpful for preventing flu and relieving symptoms.
